Angel Investors

RVC Investor Forums are held once a month in Boulder, Denver, Fort Collins, and Colorado Springs.

These Forums are comprised of a group of accredited investors who are interested in working together to learn about private equity investing strategy and deals in Colorado.  While there are four locations, we operate like “one angel group with long hallways”.  Members are welcome to attend any and all locations as they wish.  RVC Investor Forums help to make Angel Investing fun and more efficient by pooling the wisdom, efforts and funding of many individuals, and offering the opportunity to syndicate on investments. By sharing in due diligence and negotiation we are able to fund many more deals than if we pursued them as individuals.

Rockies Venture Club staff facilitates Investor Forum meetings, and provides dealflow through Monthly Pitch Events, the Angel Capital Summit, the Cannabis Capital Summit, and the Colorado Capital Conference, plus other special events. RVC does not require a minimum investment.

Newcomers are welcome regardless of whether they are experienced Angels or if they are just curious. There is no requirement to invest and each investor makes their own decisions on each deal.

To attend, you must be an accredited investor (net worth of at least one million US dollars, not including the value of one’s primary residence, or have made at least $200,000 each year for the last two years [or $300,000 together with his or her spouse if married] and have the expectation to make the same amount this year).

Syndication via Single Purpose LLC  RVC Investors  syndicate, or invest together through a Single Purpose LLC for each deal.  This provides for a unified negotiation on behalf of RVC investors and simplifies the company’s capitalization table.  There is a 10% carried interest for RVC LLCs which helps to support RVC as well as the lead investor(s) in the deal.

Rockies Venture Club, its members, managers or lead investors do no provide investment advice, nor do they endorse any particular investment. Each investor conducts his or her own due diligence and makes their own independent decision to invest.
